GOOD QUALITY “RIGHT” LIGHT
LED lamps are the latest technology in energy efficient lighting and have been in existence for more than 15 years. However, LED lamps with high lumens are generally less durable and have difficulty operating 24 hours a day. The reason for this is seldom the quality of the LED but rather the slow heat transmission linked to the Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
Generally, the fastest heat transmission of PCB for LED lamps measures at 1~3wm/k. If this measurement is not met, the lamp overheats, the lumens reduces and the LED is burnt as a result. When the heat dissipation is weak, it causes the DC power supply to over operate and produce abnormally high temperature. This, thus, reduces the life span of the DC power supply.
